The Orioles are one of the WORST teams in baseball. They had a 25-58 record through July 8, 2010. Starter Kevin Millwood, acquired in an off-season trade for Chris Ray and Rule 5 pick Ben Snyder, whose rights were acquired in a trade, threw 45 pitches in one inning, giving up 5 earned runs, against Detroit in a 12-9 loss. (From before) Texas then traded Ray to San Francisco, Snyder's original team, for catcher Bengie Molina. The Orioles have many prospects in the majors, including starters Brian Matusz, Jake Arrieta, and Chris Tillman, relievers David Hernandez and Alfredo Simon, and position players Matt Wieters, Nolan Reimold, and many others.

The Orioles won three in a row against the Rangers.

After firing interim manager Juan Samuel and hiring Buck Showalter, the Orioles actually won some games. They were still dead last in the AL East.
